While we usually think of haggling as something you do at a market in another country - or car dealerships - there are some circumstances where requesting a better price might just get you the result you want!
Electronics stores are so competitive that they'll often match competitor's prices. Furniture prices and cellphone service rates can frequently be negotiated, too. And if you've ever tried to cancel a credit card, you already know how much they're willing to negotiate on interest rates to keep you as a customer.
