Wow, where has a year gone?
It was this time last year that we all got together with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to Light the Night and fight blood cancer. South Florida walkers raised more than half a million dollars for cancer research - an we aim to beat that number this year.
Join us Saturday, September 20th at Bayfront Park, Miami; Saturday, October 11th at Memorial Hospital Miramar; and Saturday, October 25th at Huizenga Park in Fort Lauderdale to Light the Night with illuminated balloons in support of cancer patients and survivors, and in memory of loved ones.
With lots of entertainment for the kids, it's a perfect event for the whole family.

Easier auto tag renewal
It's not often that a government entity offers us LESS red tape - but that's the case with the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles. I'm not sure how this one escaped me, but since January, we've had the option of renewing our vehicle registration for two years instead of one. For real.
