I have to admit, I love watching the Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates. It's a chance to see the candidates unedited. Even when they're repeating their sound bites over and over, at least you can see their expressions when the other candidate is talking, and sometimes you get a genuine, unscripted, honest response.
Of course, the spin afterward is totally predictable. Supporters of each candidate will tell us how well their candidate did, and how poorly the other person performed. I say, skip the spin and form your own opinion.
Tonight is the only face-to-face between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin, but we still have two more debates between John McCain and Barack Obama to look forward to:
Tuesday, October 7th - this will be a town hall format. All questions will come from members of the audience or from questions submitted online. Here's where you can submit a question.
Wednesday, October 15th - this debate will focus on domestic policy. CBS Newsman Bob Schieffer will moderate this more casual debate - the candidates will be seated (maybe they'll even look at each other ... ).
