Pet Therapy Pic of the Week

This is from LITE FM Loyal Listener Debbie in Coral Springs.

"I was on a road trip up north and it was the first time I brought my cats, Smokey and Xena for any trip longer than down University Drive to the vet.

They were yowling non-stop, so I let them out of their cages and they both made a beeline for my lap. Well, it's not quite like being on the couch at home, so they improvised.

That's Smokey on top. He's definitely 'alpha' cat. But Xena didn't seem to mind, and I didn't either. They made the 16-hour drive fun, and I got unconditional love (as long as I feed them)!

    A two-rainbow day

It's hard to be in a bad mood when you see a rainbow - but two in one hour? That even makes up for rush hour traffic this morning.

What is it that's so captivating about rainbows?

The science that makes them appear?
The pretty colors in the sky (ever think about what it would be like if the sky was multi-colored every day?!)
The mythology of the 'pot 'o gold' at the end of the rainbow?

What do you love about rainbows?

    Closure for the Walshes

It's been 27 years since 6-year old Adam Walsh was abducted from a Fort Lauderdale strip mall and later found dead. Only now have Hollywood police found evidence linking the suspected killer to the case - even though Ottis Toole died in prison more than a decade ago. At least Adam's parents, John and Reve Walsh, finally know who was responsible. They've posted a letter on the America's Most Wanted website. (John Walsh created the show in response to what happened ... and since it began airing, more than 1000 fugitives have been captured.)
