We had a wonderful day at Be(e) You Sunday at
Gulfstream Park, and look forward to another fantastic get-together this week.
Once again we join with our partners at
Balance Magazine and the Work-Life Balance Institute for Women to bring you a morning of relaxation and inspiration.
We'll start with lite pilates. Whether you've never taken a pilates class, or you're already experiencing the great toning benefits of this kind of workout, instructor Ellen Hoffmann will guide you through the process.
Then enjoy a complimentary lite, healthy brunch, courtesy of Gulfstream Park. They provide a wonderful array of breakfast pastries, fresh fruit & yogurt for you to enjoy outdoors at Frank's Beach.
While you're relaxing on a lounge chair, Be(e) inspired by Maria Soldani, one of the co-hosts of 'Be(e) You Radio' each Sunday evening on LITE FM, and a tremendous promoter of philanthropy in South Florida. She'll be guiding us on the path to being Happy, and discussing how giving can contribute to our well-being. And what an example she sets - as we were encouraging the community to make donations to help send the J.P. Taravella High School Marching Bank to perform in the Inaugural Parade next week, Maria e-mailed me with a donation that she and her husband are making, and this message:
"We are GRATEFUL for many things…and music is one of them!"Thank you, Maria!
To cap the day, you'll learn how to understand the races and place bets from Gulfstream Park's experts. The excitement's intensified as you follow the horses you've picked. All you need to know to make your day at the races as thrilling as it can be!
Plus, Susan Wise will be there from 11 a.m. - 1p.m. with your chance to win free LITE FM prizes.
Bring your yoga mat and join us Sunday morning beginning at 10 in Sport of Kings at Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino, U.S. 1, just south of Hallandale Beach Boulevard. Just follow the purple balloons.
