According to a new survey, small business owners are planning to cut back their gift-giving for clients - and employees - this holiday season. Only 59 percent of those surveyed said they plan to buy client gifts this year, down from 70 percent last year.
Of those who do plan to give gifts, 22 percent said the area of their busines that most needs improvement is customer service.
Maybe it's time to remind the boss that employee service inspires better employee performance!
