Bryan and I were debating which day is better to have off for a three-day weekend - Monday or Friday. Fridays are great because the weekend comes faster, but I always feel like I should DO something when my weekend starts on Friday. Mondays are also great - you get back to work on Tuesday, and it feels like the work week is already half over!
Ultimately, we decided that ANY day is great for a day off!
What I didn't know is that Wikipedia actually has an entry for three-day weekend, with terms used around the world to describe the long weekend (or "oval", as they say in Norway). It was also enlightening to see how many other cultures go straight to the FOUR-day weekend.
Couldn't we at least have a daily siesta?
